Radiant Facial Oil Guide
Cleanser, toner, serum, moisturiser — every step done. And by evening, skin still feels tight and looks dull. Most of the time, what's missing isn't more hydration. It's the layer that keeps hydration from leaving.
Oil isn't there to add water
Skin naturally produces its own oil. That layer seals in moisture and conditions skin, which is a big part of why skin looks and feels soft and hydrated.
When skin lacks moisture, the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and discolouration becomes more visible — not because something new has appeared, but because it shows more clearly. That's why adding a botanical oil supports skin's own ability to hold onto moisture, rather than adding hydration directly.
What this product is for
Celavive Radiant Facial Oil (item 345) is a moisture enhancer in the routine — not a replacement for your moisturiser. The official usage is specific: after applying Vitalizing Serum, massage 3–5 drops gently onto face, neck and décolletage, then follow with moisturiser.
The formula works in two layers.
Layer one: fifteen botanical oils
A blend of fifteen unique botanical oils delivers antioxidants and moisture. Four are called out specifically:
- Jojoba Oil: refines and hydrates, giving skin an instantly radiant look
- Argan Oil: rich in fatty acids that soothe and protect skin
- Rosehip Oil: visibly smooths the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and helps minimise the look of discolouration
- Sunflower Oil: unsaponifiable, so it's absorbed quickly
Layer two: Chloroplastim
Chloroplastim is the cell-signaling complex central to Celavive, made of three ingredients:
- Coconut Oil: rich in vitamin E, a potent antioxidant that helps seal in moisture and protect the skin barrier
- Alfalfa Extract: moisturising and calming, gently brightening the look of complexion
- Squalene: skin produces this oil naturally, but production starts to decline around age 30 — the Squalene in this formula helps replenish that
One clinical study suggests the Chloroplastim combination helps skin retain more moisture than squalane or hyaluronic acid used alone.
How to use it
The order is specific:
- Cleanse and tone.
- Apply Celavive Vitalizing Serum.
- Radiant Facial Oil — 3–5 drops, face, neck, décolletage.
- Follow with moisturiser as usual.
The texture is silky and absorbs quickly without feeling heavy, so it won't fight with the moisturiser that follows.
Three additional uses: add a few drops to your moisturiser or body lotion for extra hydration, use it as the last step of a night routine, or apply it to hair ends and nails.
What about oily skin?
The official guide lists this product for all skin types. The key is quantity — a few drops, not a heavy layer. It's addressing moisture retention, not oil production, so it isn't the same concern as breakouts.
What this can and can't do
This oil improves the appearance of skin — a softer, more hydrated look, and a reduced appearance of fine lines and discolouration.
Squalene in the formula only replenishes what skin's own production loses with age; it doesn't make skin produce more on its own. Celavive is not intended to treat any skin condition and does not replace professional dermatological care.

The takeaway
If your routine is complete and skin still feels tight by evening, the missing step usually isn't more hydration — it's sealing the hydration you already have. A few drops of Radiant Facial Oil after your serum, before your moisturiser, lets the botanical oils and Chloroplastim do that job.
